On this day 109 years ago in 1915 Lieutenant Hugh De Lisle Bush of the Gloucestershire Regiment was wounded by gunshot at Loos. He died more than a year later in Mrs Burn's Hospital for Officers in Torquay aged 24.
On this day 106 years ago in 1918 Company Sergeant Major Frederick George Stow of "A" Coy, 7th Bn. Lincolnshire Regiment died. Son of William and Margaret Stow of Barton.
