Nicholas Straussler

On this day 54 years ago in 1966, Hungarian born engineer Nicholas Straussler died. Straussler was the man responsible for inventing the floatation screens which gave buoyancy to the which trained at Burton.

On this day 127 years ago in 1893, the Ltd., voluntarily wound up. The decision was made after an Extraordinary General Meeting with the members held at the Temperance Hall on this day.
